Please join us for our virtual, two-day 2025 Primary Care Symposium! This education will focus on equipping primary care providers with the latest guidelines and strategies for delivering exceptional care to patients with common medical conditions.

Participation in the Prescribing Controlled Substances Section is designed to offer 2.0 hours of continuing education applicable to the 8-hour DEA Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act requirements, and will meet the Tennessee Department of Health’s licensure renewal requirements for 2.0 hours of continuing education in controlled substance prescribing, including chronic pain guidelines.

Ascension Saint Thomas is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Ascension Saint Thomas designates this live activity for a maximum of 13.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 13.25 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
