Mitigation of Relevant Financial Relationships

Ascension Saint Thomas is committed to providing CME that is balanced, objective, and evidence-based. In accordance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education, all individuals who have the opportunity to control content are required to disclose any financial relationships within the past 24 months with ineligible companies whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling, or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients. Ascension Saint Thomas has established mechanisms to mitigate relevant financial relationships should they arise. The planning committee and faculty have no relevant financial relationships with ineligible companies.
