1. Identify acute stroke protocols and processes for protocol implementation.
2. Develop strategies for acute stroke management that meet the needs of patients, families, and caregivers.
3. Apply these protocols and processes to all patients, as appropriate.
4. Implement standardized acute stroke protocols and processes.
5. Improve patient outcomes by continually enhancing expertise on acute stroke management, including utilization of the WAKE-Up Stroke Protocol and surgical management of intracerebral hemorrhage.
